This is a topic and question on everyone’s mind right now on a global scale, how can I boost my immunity?  I know for me when this global pandemic started my first thoughts went to how am I going to keep my girls safe, especially my eldest who is immunocompromised.

We went through all the normal steps that were being recommended by medical experts, social distancing, personal hygiene, hand sanitizer and vitamin supplements.

As an energy healer I was very aware that there was more too it, there were other things that had the capacity to be lowering our immunity.

According to the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) there is and emotional component in 85% of all illnesses.

Stress and anxiety can have a huge impact on your physical health, especially chronic levels and during this time there is unprecedented levels of stress in people on a global scale.

To add to that is not only your own stress and anxiety, but what you as an Empath are feeling from not only those in your physical presence but the overwhelming vibration of our planet right now.

You may look at your own circumstances and feel you know what it’s okay, I am doing fine, yet still experiencing a low grade anxiety.  The issue I have noticed with that is, when it is your own stress and anxiety you can use your coping tools but when its coming from something you know nothing about, now that is challenging.

Just the awareness of the vibration that the planet is operating at right now can be a huge help to you, knowing that you may feel a low grade anxiety that is not yours helps you to cope.

Connecting in with your cosmic team and always asking the question “is this mine?” If not ask them to release it from your auric field.  Due to the high levels of anxiety right now, it is important to add this to your tool box and use it regularly.

What we think and what we tell ourselves can either support or undermine our health.  Because the immune system is so sensitive to thoughts, emotions, and subtle energies, energy healing can be an extremely useful tool in supporting wellness, fighting illness and speeding healing.

Understanding the effect of stress on your physical body is the first step but as we all know stress is a constant in all of our lives.  So the important thing is to learn how to navigate it in your life, finding, understanding and implementing coping tools that help to reduce your stress levels.

EFT has been shown through scientific studies to have a great effect both on lowering stress levels but also the physical effects of stress on the body, including the immune system.  The following physical improvements have been recorded:

  • Lowers your blood pressure
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Lowers your level of stress hormones
  • Boosts your metabolism
  • Counters aging
  • Improves your resting heart rate
  • Helps your cells fight cancer
  • Counters insulin resistance
  • Improves your neural signaling
  • Counters autoimmune disease
  • Strengthens your cell membranes
  • Reduces oxidative stress

EFT Tapping has been scientifically proven to rewire the brain to bring both the body and mind back into balance!

“The most revealing studies of the physiological aspects of EFT have examined its epigenetic effects. A population of veterans with PTSD received 10 EFT sessions. It found regulation of 6 genes associated with inflammation and immunity. A pilot study comparing an hour-long EFT session with placebo in 4 nonclinical participants found differential expression in 72 genes. These included genes associated with the suppression of cancer tumors, protection against ultraviolet radiation, regulation of type 2 diabetes insulin resistance, immunity from opportunistic infections, antiviral activity, synaptic connectivity between neurons, synthesis of both red and white blood cells, enhancement of male fertility, building white matter in the brain, metabolic regulation, neural plasticity, reinforcement of cell membranes, and the reduction of oxidative stress. Whilst seeing the scientific studies is needed and fantastic to see, I have found both my own personal experience and those of my clients is the most powerful. Just a short three years ago I was very unwell physically after many years of chronic stress levels due to my daughters seizures.

Through the use of EFT to navigate my stress levels, I was able to not only cope with what I needed to deal with I was able to heal events, memories and words of my past that were having a large impact on my body.

I went from getting sick all the time, a new cold or infection every week to feeling well and not catching any colds or infections.  I was amazed to see the difference in how I was feeling just by healing emotionally.

Something I have witnessed over the years working with my clients is the “Strong Woman” essence.  A facade that sensitive women in particular wear and present to the world to cover up what they are truly feeling below the surface.

Strong women are fiercely independent not needing anyone or anything to help them, they use statements like “I can do it myself”.  It is a bit of a joke in our family here as when my husband would ask if I needed help, I would always say “No I can do it myself”.

I would see needing help as a weakness, like there was something wrong with me that I couldn’t handle it myself.  If I showed weakness that would open me up to feeling vulnerable and then essentially heartbreak.

Thinking about children, asking for help is not something they struggle with, if you are anything like me I have said to my kids “if I hear mum one more time, I’m going to change my name”.  So clearly kids are very good at getting their needs met, so when does that change?

When do we go from getting all our needs met and being okay with it, to seeing independence as strength and receiving help and support as weakness?

Experiencing trauma can cause you to do whatever you need to, to feel safe and sometimes that includes shutting yourself off, building that wall and the only person you rely on is YOU.

Telling yourself that you prefer it this way, it’s just easier to do it yourself because then there is no risk of been let down, disappointed or hurt.

This can come from all those times in your life where you were let down, disappointed and hurt by people you trusted.  It may have been a parent saying they will pick you up and then forgot, a sibling saying they will always have your back and then don’t show up, a friend that takes more than they give.

All these experiences add up to you losing trust in people and learning that the only person you can trust is yourself and in steps independence and your strong woman essence.

Whilst your independence may feel like it is protecting you from the outside world it is wearing away at the trust you also have of yourself.

When someone lets you down and you realise you can’t trust them, what are you equating that says about you?  That maybe you can’t trust yourself to make choices about others and who you can allow into your inner circle.

Losing trust in yourself has a massive affect on every part of your being, internal and external world.  It makes it hard to make even the easiest of decisions like what to eat.

Trust in yourself is imperative to living the life you came here to live at this time, to learn the soul lessons and fulfill both your life and soul purpose.

To start to understand more about your independence and learn whether it is a trauma response, is to ask yourself “what does independence mean to me?” and “why am I so independent?”.

These journaling questions are going to help you to start to know whether there is some healing needed, so you can start to trust in yourself and in others and stop living the lonely life of independence.

Another great question sent in by one of our loyal listeners of “The Nurtured Empath” Podcast

 

This is a question I do get asked a lot and it is a broad topic as there are so many different types of energy healing that come under the umbrella “Energy Psychology”.

I am going to talk to you about the type of energy healing that I am trained, certified and have experience within and that is EFT-Tapping.

what is energy healing

EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques and also well known as Tapping as we tap on the upper body and face.  It is quite self-explanatory, it is giving you freedom from your emotional disharmony.

As I mentioned it is commonly referred to as tapping because we do a gentle tapping or percussion of the fingertips on the skin.  It is also described as a form of psychological acupressure, if you have ever had acupuncture, it is like that but without the needles.

It is tapping on the specific meridians on the upper body and face whilst you think about a problem you are experiencing.  What we have found with the combination of the tapping and the voicing of what is going on for you is a clearing of the short in the energy circuit, or better described as clearing out the emotional energy block.

Helping your mind and body to restore its balance, which helps you to gain and maintain optimal health.

Everything here on earth is made up of energy including us, so all that is within us is energy, and if you have blocks within your energy field it is going to have an impact on you in mind, body and spirit.

Energy healing and specifically what I do – EFT-Tapping – it really helps to release those blocks, allowing them to find their way out.  Because if you continue to hold these blocks within your system, it is not just going to affect your energetic system it is going to start to affect you on a physical level as well.

What I have learned and noticed through my training, the healing I have done on myself but also my clients is there always seems to be an emotional component to any physical issue or chronic disease.

It has come from something and stress is a very big indicator with that, and what we have found with EFT-Tapping is that it lowers the stress hormone – cortisol.  Tapping really helps you to return to a calm and relaxed state, instead of staying within a stressed and anxious state.

If you think about a time where you have been through a really rough time,  you are in a very heightened stressed state and it can be hard to come back to the beautiful calm and relaxed state due to what you have experienced.

What I have found with energy healing and EFT is that it is just such a simple thing that you can do, it is essentially right at the end of your fingers, you don’t need to go and grab anything it is right there.  You can just start tapping on the upper body and face and start to release out some of that anxiety and stress, so you are not carrying that around with you for a long period of time.

Energy healing really is a tool to ensure you are not continuing to carry around heavy energy that is only doing you a disservice, mentally, physically and emotionally.

In a previous article and podcast episode I talked about the energetic body vs the emotional body vs the physical body and energy healing and EFT-tapping is really going to help you to support each of those bodies individually and holistically.

Our body is very wise and very good at healing things for us including chronic disease, if we allow it to get into the right environment to be able to do that and heal itself.

The problem with that is, if we are carrying around high levels of stress, high levels of trauma from past experiences in our body then it can’t heal itself.  It just doesn’t have that capacity, because it has all those blocks sitting in its system, so it needs us to help it and that is where energy healing and EFT-tapping comes in.

Now as an energy healer and certified EFT Practitioner I am working in this area each and every day, both on myself and with my clients.  Guiding my clients to release experiences of the past that are holding them back, gently of course.

On top of that EFT-Tapping empowers you to take back your life.  Obviously for the deeper wounds and traumas it is important that you are working with me in private session, as I will guide you and keep you safe.  But for day to day experiences, such as anxiety, stress, overall emotions that you encounter, EFT-tapping will help to keep you in a calm state despite what is going on around and outside of you.

A question I get asked a lot especially from my private clients is always “but what if I don’t know the words”, the good thing is, if you are in that emotion already, you are feeling sad or angry, stressed or anxious.  You are already in it, so you don’t need the words, just start tapping and you will start to notice the emotion dissipate and bring you back to a state of calm.

“When Life Gives You Lemons You Need To Dig Deep”

It is in times like this where you can feel unsupported by the universe and your cosmic team and that they have left you to suffer, when in actual fact they are right by your side, just waiting for you to ask for their help.  As you may or may not be aware your cosmic team needs permission to step in and support you, so ask yourself the question “have I put myself in a position where they can help, assist and support me?”.

A lot of the time we can feel abandoned and unsupported and as the sensitive beings that we are, we can have the mindset of “I can do it myself, I don’t need help” or “I am the helper, I can’t possibly burden another person with my problems”.  So by asking yourself that question, you are opening up your awareness to your part in this situation or any situation where you have felt left behind and unsupported.

Your cosmic team will help you by taking your hand and leading you out of the darkness if you let them, it may look a little something like this:

You may start to notice little signs of light that grab your attention, for example:  When my daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy five years ago, we spent many days and nights in hospital and what a drab and depressing place that is.  My cosmic team helped shine the light for me by reminding me of the wonderful support of her medical team and the brand new children’s hospital that had been opened not long before her first seizure.

So as you can see they were shining the light by showing me the good within the situation, without that awareness and asking for help, I would of stayed in the darkness of what we were experiencing.

Surrender your Stranglehold on the Universe

“All we have is this moment, yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to arrive”

 

Surrender

The attempt and effort to control each moment is an exercise in futility, there are way too many forces at play at any given moment to have full control over anything.  As you do make this attempt instead of gaining the outcome you are looking for, you are in actual fact, cutting off the flow from the Universe.

 

Surrendering to each and every moment, releases anxiety and worry, in this moment you can breathe.  You can handle this moment!  Surrendering is letting go of control, relinquishing the idea that all you have is your own power that there is no-one else.

You can handle this moment! 

In a place of control you are cutting off the power of the universe, a stranglehold on your life and then wondering why it’s not working out how you envisioned.  It reminds me of a saying:

“If you love something, let it go and if it returns, it is yours forever”

Whilst surrendering and letting go is frightening, the immense relief you will feel is more than worth the moment of fear.  Remember as a child you didn’t have to worry how things happened,  you could rely on a bigger power – Your Parents.

It is no different now, there is a bigger infinite power at play – The Universe.  You just need to trust in her, like you trusted in your parents to never lead you astray.

When we are continuously worrying about things, whether it’s about what has been or what has yet to come, it’s like we are really putting a stranglehold on the Universe.  Not allowing it to flow through us because we are strangling it, strangling it with worry, strangling it with anxiety and strangling it with stress.

If we can surrender to the current moment, surrender to right now that is like us just releasing that stranglehold.  It is allowing us to really trust in the Universe, trusting that she knows what we need in each and every moment, trusting that she will provide for us in each and every moment, financially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Providing us with everything we need in each and every moment, imagine living from that place, how different would your life look if you did that?  If you just surrendered, surrendered to each moment, not worrying about what has been, not worrying about what is yet to come, just surrender to NOW.

Having unwavering faith and unwavering trust, that everything you need is going to flow to you.  In actual fact what we have been doing by having the stranglehold is not allowing those things to flow to us, we are really putting a kink in it, making it extremely hard for information, guidance and physical items to flow through to us.

Just like when you put a kink in a hose, the water just stops flowing doesn’t it, there is no where for it to go, it certainly can’t flow through to the end of the hose.

All the Universe wants is to flow through you, your source is infinite, so you are infinite.  We are all connected, so if we can allow ourselves to be in the present moment to surrender to that, to lean in to that then things are going to flow with so much ease.  There won’t be that constriction, there won’t be that kink, it is just going to flow very easily.

Card 1: Lost In Our Own Equations

Your guidance starts at 1:00 in the video below.

In our current times it is so easy to get stuck within your own mind and within your own thoughts, the angels are guiding they are very aware of all the anxiety that is within us and around us right now.  It is a prime time for anxiety right now and for those of you that have struggled with anxiety in the past, it may be surfacing now like never before because it is saying “see I told you so, I told you something would go wrong”.

So it is more important now to be implementing and using all the strategies I have shared with you over the episodes of Ask Your Angels, Journaling, meditation, EFT and grounding.  Right now I am showing up for each of you over on my Facebook page, Mon-Fri @8am AEST with my Calming Moment, giving you the opportunity to come out of your head and into your heart space.

Your angels like always are in a very supportive and cheerleader mode urging you to do all the things you know you need to do during this process and any challenging times you experience.  They have your back and are cheering you on from the sidelines “You Can Do It!”

Card 2: Lotus Rose

A lotus rose grows and even thrives in the most difficult of circumstances, it actually grows in the mud and boy is that the energy we are currently residing in.  Like in card #1 there is so much anxiety around, everyone is experiencing at the very least a low grade anxiety and as an empath you are feeling and bathing in that energy.  The angels want to remind you just like the lotus rose, you too can grow and thrive through the mud, in actual fact the growth you experience right now will be so profound it will propel your soul forward 10 speed.

I have seen an example of this just this past week, with younger people aka millennial’s saying “we have never experienced anything like this before”.  Whilst true for them yes, its not true for us in the older generation, whilst we haven’t been through this exactly, we have all suffered challenging times.  So they have been plotting along with normal life, no mud to speak of and now they are struggling a little more than us due to their lack of experience and exposure.

They are certainly going to come out of this with a whole lot more resilience than they went into it with and the same with you, you are going to come out of this experience with amazing confidence knowing you can grow through anything, you can survive anything, because you just did.

Card 3: The Universe

The universe has a message for you that she is healing and as she heals you heal too and the angels are saying this is happening for us, not to us.  I know in life it can certainly feel like things are happening to us and I understand that completely, but if you can have a shift in perspective you will start to see some of the benefits of right now.

Families are having more time to spend together (I know not always a good thing lol) but the rushing, the jam packed schedules, the filling our lives with things and experiences not for our highest good have been stripped from us.  We are all going to come out of this with a very different perspective of what we need and what we choose to fill our time with moving forward.

Have you seen the amazing footage of mother nature healing, animals coming back out and the amount of butterflies and dragonflies around.  All signs of healing, all signs of growing and all signs of transformation.

The angels are asking me to ask you “Can you see it?”

Card 4: Buddha Nature

Your guidance starts at 7:28 in the video below.

Come into the present moment, Buddha Nature is all about mindfulness and being in the current moment.  Following on from card #1 anxiety does not exist in the present moment, it is always in the future, worrying about what is going to happen, what is yet to come.

In this moment right here and right now, you are safe.  A great mantra to have with you in times of anxiety “My name is ……….. and right here and right now I am safe”.  It is only when you project into the future is your anxiety going to skyrocket, when you start to worry about tomorrow, what tomorrow will look like, how you will cope in tomorrows world, all future projected.

The Traits of an Empath

Have you ever wondered why you feel different to those around you?

Noticing that you experience the world in a different way, feel more sensitive to the energy of your environment and people around you, well you may in fact like me be an Empath.  I am going to take you through 27 different traits of an empath that will explain to you why you feel they way you do.

 

1. Knowing

Have you felt like you just know things without being told?  You just know something when you probably shouldn’t know it, and I feel this goes even deeper than intuition, it is just a real knowingness, deep in your core.  Coming from our ability to sense energy and being highly attuned.

2. Being in public places can be overwhelming

This is a big one for empaths, it can feel so overwhelming.  When you think about going shopping, attending sports event or concert, you feel all the energies coming at you at once.  This can feel so overwhelming and confusing, as  you have so many different energies and emotions coming at you.  You may find yourself feeling extremely tired and exhausted after only a short time in the space of other people and energy.

3. Feeling the emotions of others

You feel how other people are feeling and this can lead to confusion once again because it can be hard to determine and differentiate between your own feelings and those of other people that you are picking up.  You are absorbing the emotions of others and thinking that they belong to you, so think about a time where you have really noticed your mood change for no apparent reason.  This is due to you absorbing the emotion of another person and taking it on as your own.

4. Watching violence on TV

This one affects me as an Empath on quite a deep level.  Have you noticed when you are watching TV, it may be the news or just a drama, thriller or horror movie and start to feel the affects of what the actor is experiencing.  This is another sign that you are an Empath, as you are literally soaking up the emotions of the person on the TV be that real or fiction.

5. You know when someone is being dishonest

As an empath you are like a human lie-detector, you just know when someone isn’t being truthful with you, whether its a white lie or a big whopper they are trying to pull over on you.  This can be a challenging one especially in relationships, is this something that you have noticed?

6. Picking up physical symptoms off others

You may notice when you are around other people all of a sudden you notice a physical ailment, such as a headache or stomach pain or any physical pain really.  This is you absorbing the energy off others and taking on their physical pain.  This is one to be aware of and learning how to release that energy aka physical pain back to its owner.

7. Digestive disorders and lower back problems

As we pick up the energy of emotions of others, it can really cause you to suffer with these issues due to your system being weakened.  Lower back problems are connected to you being ungrounded and that’s why as an empath its super important to have a routine of keeping yourself grounded, allowing you to cope with the energies and emotions coming at you from others.

8. Always advocating for other people, especially those in need.

Empaths can sense those in need, zone in on those who are in need of your support and protection.  It really comes from our strong compassion and we can’t help but step in and help and advocate for them.

9. Others will tell you their life story

You may have noticed that people just open up to you really easily, even strangers, you may be at the supermarket and next thing you know the cashier is telling you their life story and you now probably know way more about them than you needed to.  We tend to become a dumping ground for others problems, as we are very compassionate and with our open hearts people just feel comfortable off loading on us.

10. Feeling tired and exhausted all the time

Feeling fatigue constantly comes from taking on the energy of others all the time, as an empath you are like a sponge, just soaking up all the energy around you.  This is why its so important to take time for yourself, away from others, having that quiet time and that is ok.

11. Addictive Personality

To cope with absorbing the energy of others we turn to a drug of sorts to help protect us against the pain we are experiencing, especially when we don’t know what it is they we are protecting against.  The addiction may be food (my drug of choice), alcohol, drugs or even shopping (which can be a double edged sword with shopping equaling people), each of these distracts you and protects you from all the energy and emotions coming at you.  Good news is once you learn about being a empath and learn the coping skills you can become reformed on your drug of choice, such as emotional eating for me.  I am now a recovering emotional eater.

12. Healing and Holistic Therapies resonate with you on a deep level

You may feel you radiate towards energy healing in different shapes and forms, this is all part of your path as an empath being drawn to and resonating with healing modalities that are going to support your gift as an empath.  For me I was very drawn and resonated with the Law of Attraction, oracle cards and Emotional Freedom Techniques.  What do you feel drawn to or resonate with?

13. Creative Flair

Empaths tend to express themselves in a creative way and even more than that it is an important outlet for the energy they have absorbed, as I was talking about in trait #11, this is a more healthy way of releasing energies and emotions from others.  I know sometimes when I say creative, people feel like no I am not creative at all, but the fact is, we all are in one way or another.  You have the obvious creative paths like dancing, singing, painting etc but then there are other not so obvious ways such as thinking in more creative ways about a problem, re-organising your space (empaths love this).

14. A love of nature and animals

Nature is a real solace for empaths, it is where we go to balance, ground and rejuvenate our energy.  You may notice you just feel so calm when you are in nature and whilst you’re there notice animals are attracted to you.

15. Need for alone time and solitude

As an empath it is so important to have your down time, you may notice if you don’t get alone time you start to feel exhausted, overwhelmed, confused and lost.  Taking time out is #1 important task for an empath.

16. Get bored very easily

You may notice you get bored very easily if you are not doing something that really stimulates you.  When an empath becomes un-stimulated that is when you may find yourself daydreaming or doodling and really not paying attention, not the best thing at work or school.

17. Find it hard to do things you don’t enjoy

I have noticed this one within myself, its a real struggle to do things I don’t enjoy and one of those things is small talk.  It just really doesn’t do it for me and feels like a waste of time and energy.  Have you noticed that within yourself?  Bring me a deep conversation and I’m all in, just don’t talk to me about the weather.

18. Truth is so important, a real deep core value

As empaths truth is so important, honesty for me is a top deep core value, I don’t cope well with people that are not being truthful.  As in an earlier trait #5 we know when people are being dishonest and this explains why we find this so difficult.

19. Always on the search for more knowledge, wisdom and answers

An empath is always on the search for answers and if they are not given a good explanation they have to keep searching until they feel comfortable with the answer or it resonates with them on a deep level.   As I mentioned in an earlier trait #1 when an empath has a knowingness they will search for confirmation on what they know to be true.

20. Adventure and travel is an empaths soul food

Travel, freedom and adventure is so important as an empath, we need to have a lifestyle that allows this to happen on a regular basis otherwise it can start to feel like in trait #15 no alone time, a sense of overwhelm, exhaustion and a bit like a trapped animal that wants to roam free.

21. A dislike of clutter

This is something that empaths really can’t handle, clutter, we need to have a nice clean, organised and crisp space that is cleansed of any negative energy.  I know for me I am always de-cluttering and re-organising our home and I just love that feeling when our space is clear of clutter and cleansed of any negative and stuck energy.

22. A love of daydreaming

Does this sound like you?  Finding yourself off with the fairies, daydreaming the time away.  Yes me too, my husband used to call it “she’s zoned out again”, this is a great sign that you are an empath, a love of daydreaming.

23. Great listener

As empaths our sensitivity makes us great listeners, we don’t just hear the words, but we notice the body language and of course sense the energy behind the words.  Making us great listeners and explains trait #9 why others tell us their life stories.

24. Struggle to cope with narcissism

This is something that unfortunately empaths have to deal with quite a lot, as people that have narcissistic tendencies actually seek out those that are empaths.  Yet empaths detest narcissism, so it can be a real challenge to deal with these people when they are craving you and you just want them to get out of your space and take their narcissistic energy with them.

25. Antique furniture is a no-go

Like in many of the traits above where I have talked about the absorbing of energy, this is no different, we tend to not like antique or pre-owned furniture because we feel what the previous owner was feeling when they were in contact with the furniture.  For me I also avoid library books for the same reason otherwise I am flooded with the energy and emotions of the previous reader/s.

26. Sense the energy of food

Have you noticed some foods affect your body in strange ways?  This can be a sign that you are an empath and picking up on the energy and emotion of the animal, especially if it is a meat product.  Pay attention to this and make adjustments if needed.

27. Appearing moody, shy or disconnected

Like I mentioned earlier in trait #22 my husband thinking I was zoning out, this is how we can come across due to different reasons, maybe we are daydreaming or maybe we are distancing ourselves as a form of self-protection and this can come across as us being in a bad mood, or shy or sometimes even arrogant.  A cross we bear as an empath and trying to have a balance between protecting ourselves and still being available for others.

Rhythm of your breath

Can the Rhythm of your Breath Hold the Answers?

As you go about your day notice the inhale and the exhale of your breath in your body, notice how it happens automatically to your own rhythm.  No two persons breath rhythm is the same, some breathe deeper, some shallower, some faster and some slower.

As you start to notice your breath rhythm, really get to know it, what does it feel like on the in breath? what does it feel like on the out breath?  Noticing your whole body’s response, as you do this you will then know at times where you are out of rhythm and as you are out of rhythm, it is a sign you are out of alignment with the Universe.

Come back to your breath, always come back to your breath, it is your connection to YOU, connect to your light, connection to the Universe and connection to Source.

It sounds so simple but the first thing, we do as we enter our earthly vessel is take a breath and the last thing we do before we leave our early vessel is take our last BREATH!

The flow of life is as simple as the in and out breath as long as you go with the flow and stay in the flow, life will seem easy.  Simple, flowing and rhythmic.

Nature follows this process in each and every moment, take the ocean for example; notice a wave at the beach, you don’t see it holding back what is natural to it, it ebbs and flows, in and out and back and forth.  It doesn’t hold back, comparing itself to the wave next to it or hiding its natural beauty in fear it is not good enough, it just shines its natural gift of flowing in and out.

The same for you, why step out of your rhythm with life, breathing in and out with life, no holding back what is natural and what is divinely yours.  It is only when you step out of this rhythm, that life becomes hard, like pushing a rock up a hill.  When you rely on only your earthly vessel’s power you are limiting your potential.

Within the rhythm of life you are connected to source and source is infinite making you infinite, your possibilities are infinite.  As you flow with life, life flows with you.

Like a river flowing downstream, you flow downstream, as it turns you turn, as it stops, you stop always knowing it will flow again. Just like you know the sun will rise again, so will you.

The flow is inside of you, this beautiful current, flowing, ebbing and flowing, in and out.  Dance with life and life will dance with you.

Card 1:

 

Daily Practice – It takes practice and that is okay, don’t put huge expectations on yourself, give yourself the time to perfect your new hobby, habit or work task.  Archangel Gabriel is showing me a little baby just learning to walk, as she falls down she gets back up time and time again until she perfects the art of walking, this is the same for you, we tend to overestimate what we can get done in a day, yet underestimate what we can achieve in a year.

Allow yourself the time to get used to the newness of this task, don’t expect to know everything and be perfect at it right now, allow yourself to enjoy the journey of learning, not worrying so much about the outcome and being perfect.   I talk more about this in the video below, starting at 1:55.

 

Card 2:

Birth – This card really follows on from card number 1, all about newness and interesting since we are in the full moon phase, a time of releasing and getting ready for the new.  Now if you are like me and done with the baby rearing years this may freak  you out, but don’t worry it isn’t necessarily about a new baby.  It may be a new idea, or exciting project on the horizon, something that has been building within you for a while.  Your guidance is to know it is birthing within you and what it needs from you right now is patience and space, allowing it to come to fruition in its on time and in its own way.  Funnily enough similar to allowing a baby to grow within you for 9 months.

As hard as it can be do your best to release your expectations of what it should be or should look like and allow the universe to bring it to you in the best way possible for your highest good.  I share more in the video below, starting at 4:30.

Card 3:

Time Management – Well haven’t you been putting yourself on the back-burner, no more, its time to start prioritising yourself, allowing your needs to be served, sitting at the top of your to-do-list.  I know how hard this can be, especially as mums, kids tend to take up a bulk of our time, but I like to look at it as showing my girls what is important, so when they go out into the world, they know that putting themselves first isn’t just okay it is a necessity.

So this week your angels are guiding you to bring yourself back to the top of the list, allowing your needs to be met and knowing it is not just okay but essential to your overall health, in mind, body and spirit.   More guidance on the video below starting at 6:07

Card 4:

Journaling – one of my most favourite things to do and a big part of my healing journey, it is so essential to releasing the heaviness that you are carrying around.  Your angels are guiding you to start journaling, putting pen to paper and just allow the words to flow, there is no right or wrong way, just let what needs to come, come.   It is as simple as just writing what you are thinking, as you do that it takes away its power, as inside your mind thoughts can gain momentum and before you know it, you have come up with this disastrous outcome, that literally has no truth to it.

As the air hits your words, they lose their power and you will start to feel a sense of calm and inner peace and as that happens guidance has space to come through, supporting you in each and every moment.   Listen below to receive more guidance on Journaling, starting at 8:08

Ask Your Angels | Episode 10 | Nurturing Yourself

 

In this week’s episode of  “Ask Your Angels” the theme is  “Nurturing Yourself”

 

In client sessions this week the theme has surrounded “Nurturing Yourself”, the importance of taking care of yourself instead of waiting for others to do it for you.

So this week, lets ask the question “What needs nurturing within me?”

Card 1:

Devotion – This guidance is all about having a regular routine, which is what devotion is, spending time on something that means something to you.  Your angels are guiding it is all about connection, connection to yourself, your soul and also to your higher power whatever that looks like for you.  In the video below I talk a little more about that connection to yourself, dropping down into your heart space and connecting to that light within you.   Knowing this space is where you will find all you need to know, the guidance that is specific to you and no one else, a reminder that no one outside of you knows what is right for you, only you do.

Card 2:

Father – This guidance for you is all about balancing your masculine and feminine energies, not so much about your birth father or even God.  Its really important to have a balance between the soft feminine energy and powerful masculine energy, I am being shown that you have shut your heart off to the world, putting up a wall to protect yourself.  With what you have experienced this is completely natural, your angels are guiding it is time, time to soften, time to take down the wall bit by bit.  In the video below I share some ways to soften your heart and the importance.

Card 3:

Inner Child – This card says it all, your inner child needs nurturing, she is calling out for love, to be seen and nurtured.  In the video I talk about this in more detail, but it is important to tend to your inner child, allowing her to feel safe, seen and loved.  As a child we can experience situations that leave a mark, a mark that needs to be healed to ensure she doesn’t take the drivers seat and leading your life from a young age, instead of you taking the reigns.   This week you can nurture your inner child by sending her love and remembering she hears and observes everything, your thoughts and your words.

Card 4:

Joy – Your guidance is to bring more Joy into your daily experience, doing the things that light you up, the things that make you laugh.  As adults we can easily forget to do this, to allow Joy in, your angels are guiding you need to give yourself permission, permission to feel joyful, to do the the things that bring you joy and laughter.  It is also a great opportunity to feel expansion of Joy, as you do this it then gives you the capacity to deal with more difficult times in a more in depth and bigger way.  Check out the video below for more guidance on expanding and allowing joy into your daily experience.
