The Empty Space

I was walking along the beach feeling a quietness I had not experienced before.

I looked around and there were just as many people as any other time.

I asked myself “what is different?”

Why does it feel quiet and I realised it was me, my internal world was at peace, it was quiet.

I’ve never felt that before so I didn’t recognise it.

On our healing journey it is a path of undoing and letting go of what we thought was the point.

I know for me this past week has been very healing and growth provoking.

Undoing what I thought people wanted and needed from me and letting go of that deep need to help and fix.

I’m now sitting in this quiet space getting to know it but also making sure I’m not trying to fill it with anything out of fear or uncomfortableness.

I’ve always seen people who look so at peace and wondered what and how, I’m starting to see it’s always inner peace and with inner peace comes outer peace.

Balanced Friendships

Balanced Friendships as an Empath

Do you know what balanced friendships look like?

 

As empaths we are naturally caring and giving, always wanting the best for those around us and of course we can feel when that is not the case.  We tend to leap into action doing what we can to help and support that person to feel better, because as they feel better we feel better too.

What happens in the aftermath is a clear indication of the health and balance of the friendship, once they are feeling back to their old self and the issue is solved, what actions do they then take?

In balanced friendships there will be gratitude for the support you have provided, there will be no silence or ghosting, there will be no lack of contact until the next time you are needed.  Most importantly when you are in need of support, they will be right there holding you up in your time of need.

Unfortunately empaths and highly sensitive souls have a tendency to be used in relationships and friendships because they give their everything and don’t always have that favour returned.  I know I have experienced this in my life time and time again, I would be the go to person when life got messy, I would drop everything and be there to support them through.  The storm would pass and I would be dropped like a hot potato and not hear from them again until the next storm.

I would always ask myself “why does this keep happening, I am a good person, do I not deserve to have contact with them outside of their storm?”  Of course when I started to unpack it, I could see it as a pattern within me that needed healing, my walls were down there were no boundaries to be seen, it was like open season.

As a recovering people pleaser I would always do whatever I could do to please others and of course that meant doing so much more for them and being there at the drop of a hat with no consideration for my own needs.  All that did was allow them to then also have no consideration for my needs, why would they, I sure didn’t.

I’ll be honest with you until very recently I didn’t even know what a balanced friendship looked like or felt like, thankfully I do now and do you know why I now know that and feel that?  I healed the part inside of me, my inner child who had been hurt so many times by people she thought were friends, that I finally felt deserving of a balanced friendship of someone that cares for and believes in me wholeheartedly.

I will take a shot in the dark and say this is probably your experience too, you may have been hurt by people in the past and now its hard to trust, hard to believe that having people in your corner is even a possibility.

“I am here to tell you right now, you are deserving, you are worthy and your soul-friends are just waiting for you.”

Balanced Friendships

 

The path to your soul-friends is to be open, to be very open to the people you are surrounding yourself with right now.  Disclaimer: It doesn’t mean they are bad, they are not, from your unhealed place you have welcomed in behaviour that is no longer acceptable to you.

Just because you have been friends since school or maybe it’s “but they are my family” or “its just the way they are” or “its just always been this way”.  These are all beliefs that have most likely been placed on you and they are beliefs that are keeping you from being your true self, because that true self is exhausted under the weight of carrying the burdens of others.

Wouldn’t you just love to let all that go?  Start to feel free and know that balanced and soulful connections are possible for you too.

You don’t have to be a doormat, you don’t have to be a sponge.  What if the way in which you have been allowing others to treat you is in fact not only stunting your spiritual growth but theirs as well.  As empaths we are all about helping, so what if just for a moment you could entertain the idea that there is another way to help those around you.

It is not our job to carry the burdens for others but help, teach and support them to carry it for themselves.  Now I know we have a tendency to fix, it’s a natural human desire to take pain way from our loved ones, but in pain lies growth.  I see this so much in the work that I do with my private clients, pain moves them to action so much quicker than pleasure ever does.

If you do everything in your power to take away their pain, you are interfering in their growth process, in the growth of their soul.  I envision our souls sometimes acting like Homer Simpson saying “DOH” we were so close.

So let’s look at this in the concept of balanced friendships, so of course you are going to want to be there for your friends in their times of need, it is your natural state of being but the question is “is it theirs?”.

There may be a number of reasons as to why it is not theirs, seeing the pain in others isn’t easy, being able to hold space for another in their time of need isn’t easy as I am sure you know all too well.  But for empaths we do this naturally, it is our natural state of being, but it isn’t for everyone.

The question you want to ask yourself is “if my friend is unable to hold space for me when I need it, am I okay with continuing to do it for them?”

You might be and that is 100% okay, if you are not if you have had enough, then it is time for change.  Like I said earlier in the article, it doesn’t make them bad or you bad, it is just your expectations have changed and you now require more from your friendships and that is also 100% okay.

Now of course in any friendship there are going to be up and down times, back and forth, times where you need more support and times where they need more support.  Even periods where it may feel that either you or your friend is needing more and that is okay, the important focus is if the tables were turned would it look similar?

I hope this article helps you to start to assess your friendships and gain an understanding as to whether they are balanced and above all know that you are worthy and deserving of balanced friendships with others where you feel supported and held.

Give Yourself Permission to Feel What You Feel

Welcome back to Season 2 of the Nurtured Empath Podcast

 

So, here we are back with season two and you know thinking about what the first episode would be for season two.

What really came through to me was what I have been seeing through client sessions in the last few months, it’s really been about not been able to feel what you feel.

What I have been noticing is that a lot of people will excuse how they are feeling because, especially with what we have been experiencing over the last year 2020 they feel like there are other people out there that are worse off.

And you know what it really doesn’t matter what other people are going through. This is about you and how you are feeling and about what you are experiencing.

Now you pushing down and not expressing or processing how it is that you are feeling and what it is that you are experiencing is not helping anybody.

Not helping you and not helping the other people you’re seeing that you are feeling are going through worse things than you are.

You not expressing your own feelings does nothing for them, it’s not going to help them on their path at all. All it’s going to do is to cause you to feel worse because you’re not going to be expressing or processing how you are feeling.

You’re going to be putting on that mask like we pretend to do to say you know what everything is okay, I am fine. That is obviously a big statement that empaths tend to use and females especially tend to use, we use that statement of I’m fine.

I think I have mentioned this before in the previous season of this podcast. I am fine is a statement that is banned in my household because it’s not a true statement.

When someone says they are fine, majority of the time they are not fine, they are just saying I don’t want to burden you with this, so I am going to say that I am fine.

All you’re saying is I can’t feel what I feel because the person over there has got it worse than I do. All that is doing is you’re pushing it down and not processing, and what not processing does is that it fills you up on the inside. And if you are filled up in the inside then it reduces your capacity to help other people.

So, if you are seeing someone else whether they’re close to you or just someone you know going through a tough time, and you feel that what your experience is, is less compared to what they’re going through.

While you not processing what’s going on for you that means you are minimising your capacity to help them with whatever they’re going through.

So, why would you want to do that?  Why would you want to look at their situation? That is really bad so, what I’m going through that is nothing I’m not going to deal with it.  All you are doing is just reducing that space that you have within you to help them with whatever they are going through.

I know for me I wouldn’t want to do that, in my role obviously as a counsellor I have to have the capacity to help my clients.

It’s important that I always deal with my stuff and I can tell you the things I hear from my clients are one hundred times worse than what I go through.

But it doesn’t minimise what I experience, I need to be processing and expressing that for myself, so then I still have that capacity to help them and that is the same for you.

Make sure you’re always expressing your own feelings, giving yourself permission to feel.

So, then you have that space to help other people that are going through some tough times.

I hope that helps you understand the importance of giving yourself the permission to feel.

So, it’s really important for you to start to know it’s okay to feel what you feel. It’s okay to express what you feel. It’s okay to process what you feel.

Blocking that and pretending to feel okay, is not helping you to grow it’s stunting your growth, your spiritual growth.

It’s important for you to give yourself the permission to feel.

That is really the message I wanted to get across in the first episode of season two.

I really want you to go ahead and be doing that, to start to process or to express what you feel.

Journaling is a great way to do that, it’s like a brain dump, open the page and really writing about truly how you are feeling.

What’s been happening? Who is part of the story? What’s the environment it’s happening in?

Really writing all of it out, getting it out of your brain, it’s going to help you to express and process it. To see the truth of what is really going on.

Because when we leave things up in our mind, they tend to gain momentum and the story can have things added into it that aren’t necessarily true.

This will really help you to express, process and really move through whatever it is you have been experiencing.

That is my tip for you today to really start to understand what is you are feeling.  I am going to leave you with a question:

“When was the last time you really gave yourself the permission to feel what you feel?”

This is a topic and question on everyone’s mind right now on a global scale, how can I boost my immunity?  I know for me when this global pandemic started my first thoughts went to how am I going to keep my girls safe, especially my eldest who is immunocompromised.

We went through all the normal steps that were being recommended by medical experts, social distancing, personal hygiene, hand sanitizer and vitamin supplements.

As an energy healer I was very aware that there was more too it, there were other things that had the capacity to be lowering our immunity.

According to the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) there is and emotional component in 85% of all illnesses.

Stress and anxiety can have a huge impact on your physical health, especially chronic levels and during this time there is unprecedented levels of stress in people on a global scale.

To add to that is not only your own stress and anxiety, but what you as an Empath are feeling from not only those in your physical presence but the overwhelming vibration of our planet right now.

You may look at your own circumstances and feel you know what it’s okay, I am doing fine, yet still experiencing a low grade anxiety.  The issue I have noticed with that is, when it is your own stress and anxiety you can use your coping tools but when its coming from something you know nothing about, now that is challenging.

Just the awareness of the vibration that the planet is operating at right now can be a huge help to you, knowing that you may feel a low grade anxiety that is not yours helps you to cope.

Connecting in with your cosmic team and always asking the question “is this mine?” If not ask them to release it from your auric field.  Due to the high levels of anxiety right now, it is important to add this to your tool box and use it regularly.

What we think and what we tell ourselves can either support or undermine our health.  Because the immune system is so sensitive to thoughts, emotions, and subtle energies, energy healing can be an extremely useful tool in supporting wellness, fighting illness and speeding healing.

Understanding the effect of stress on your physical body is the first step but as we all know stress is a constant in all of our lives.  So the important thing is to learn how to navigate it in your life, finding, understanding and implementing coping tools that help to reduce your stress levels.

EFT has been shown through scientific studies to have a great effect both on lowering stress levels but also the physical effects of stress on the body, including the immune system.  The following physical improvements have been recorded:

  • Lowers your blood pressure
  • Boosts your immune system
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Lowers your level of stress hormones

  • Counters aging
  • Improves your resting heart rate

EFT Tapping has been scientifically proven to rewire the brain to bring both the body and mind back into balance!

“The most revealing studies of the physiological aspects of EFT have examined its epigenetic effects. A population of veterans with PTSD received 10 EFT sessions. It found regulation of 6 genes associated with inflammation and immunity. A pilot study comparing an hour-long EFT session with placebo in 4 nonclinical participants found differential expression in 72 genes. These included genes associated with the suppression of cancer tumors, protection against ultraviolet radiation, regulation of type 2 diabetes insulin resistance, immunity from opportunistic infections, antiviral activity, synaptic connectivity between neurons, synthesis of both red and white blood cells, enhancement of male fertility, building white matter in the brain, metabolic regulation, neural plasticity, reinforcement of cell membranes, and the reduction of oxidative stress. Whilst seeing the scientific studies is needed and fantastic to see, I have found both my own personal experience and those of my clients is the most powerful. Just a short three years ago I was very unwell physically after many years of chronic stress levels due to my daughters seizures.

Through the use of EFT to navigate my stress levels, I was able to not only cope with what I needed to deal with I was able to heal events, memories and words of my past that were having a large impact on my body.

I went from getting sick all the time, a new cold or infection every week to feeling well and not catching any colds or infections.  I was amazed to see the difference in how I was feeling just by healing emotionally.

What is Energy Healing?

What is Energy Healing?

Another great question sent in by one of our loyal listeners of “The Nurtured Empath” Podcast

 


This is a question I do get asked a lot and it is a broad topic as there are so many different types of energy healing that come under the umbrella “Energy Psychology”.

I am going to talk to you about the type of energy healing that I am trained, certified and have experience within and that is EFT-Tapping.

what is energy healing

EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques and also well known as Tapping as we tap on the upper body and face.  It is quite self-explanatory, it is giving you freedom from your emotional disharmony.

As I mentioned it is commonly referred to as tapping because we do a gentle tapping or percussion of the fingertips on the skin.  It is also described as a form of psychological acupressure, if you have ever had acupuncture, it is like that but without the needles.

It is tapping on the specific meridians on the upper body and face whilst you think about a problem you are experiencing.  What we have found with the combination of the tapping and the voicing of what is going on for you is a clearing of the short in the energy circuit, or better described as clearing out the emotional energy block.

Helping your mind and body to restore its balance, which helps you to gain and maintain optimal health.

Everything here on earth is made up of energy including us, so all that is within us is energy, and if you have blocks within your energy field it is going to have an impact on you in mind, body and spirit.

Energy healing and specifically what I do – EFT-Tapping – it really helps to release those blocks, allowing them to find their way out.  Because if you continue to hold these blocks within your system, it is not just going to affect your energetic system it is going to start to affect you on a physical level as well.

What I have learned and noticed through my training, the healing I have done on myself but also my clients is there always seems to be an emotional component to any physical issue or chronic disease.

It has come from something and stress is a very big indicator with that, and what we have found with EFT-Tapping is that it lowers the stress hormone – cortisol.  Tapping really helps you to return to a calm and relaxed state, instead of staying within a stressed and anxious state.

If you think about a time where you have been through a really rough time,  you are in a very heightened stressed state and it can be hard to come back to the beautiful calm and relaxed state due to what you have experienced.

What I have found with energy healing and EFT is that it is just such a simple thing that you can do, it is essentially right at the end of your fingers, you don’t need to go and grab anything it is right there.  You can just start tapping on the upper body and face and start to release out some of that anxiety and stress, so you are not carrying that around with you for a long period of time.

Energy healing really is a tool to ensure you are not continuing to carry around heavy energy that is only doing you a disservice, mentally, physically and emotionally.

In a previous article and podcast episode I talked about the energetic body vs the emotional body vs the physical body and energy healing and EFT-tapping is really going to help you to support each of those bodies individually and holistically.

Our body is very wise and very good at healing things for us including chronic disease, if we allow it to get into the right environment to be able to do that and heal itself.

The problem with that is, if we are carrying around high levels of stress, high levels of trauma from past experiences in our body then it can’t heal itself.  It just doesn’t have that capacity, because it has all those blocks sitting in its system, so it needs us to help it and that is where energy healing and EFT-tapping comes in.

Now as an energy healer and certified EFT Practitioner I am working in this area each and every day, both on myself and with my clients.  Guiding my clients to release experiences of the past that are holding them back, gently of course.

On top of that EFT-Tapping empowers you to take back your life.  Obviously for the deeper wounds and traumas it is important that you are working with me in private session, as I will guide you and keep you safe.  But for day to day experiences, such as anxiety, stress, overall emotions that you encounter, EFT-tapping will help to keep you in a calm state despite what is going on around and outside of you.

A question I get asked a lot especially from my private clients is always “but what if I don’t know the words”, the good thing is, if you are in that emotion already, you are feeling sad or angry, stressed or anxious.  You are already in it, so you don’t need the words, just start tapping and you will start to notice the emotion dissipate and bring you back to a state of calm.

Which Body is the Most Important?

Energetic | Emotional | Physical

 

As an energy healer I spend a lot of time working on and talking about my energetic body, sharing ways to keep it clear from the energy of others.  I also focus a lot on both mine and my clients emotional bodies, healing from past experiences, releasing the emotional charge.

I’ll be honest my physical body hasn’t always been given the attention that she needs and deserves and I learned that lesson as my physical body started to break down after many years of chronic stress.

When my daughter started having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy, my stress levels went through the roof along with elevated cortisol levels.

Having high cortisol levels for a long period of time wreaks havoc on your physical body, 6 years on I am slowly recovering from adrenal fatigue.

So as you can see my energetic and emotional bodies had plenty of attention but my physical body did not and it showed.

There are three bodies you need to be aware of and give equal attention to:

  1. Energetic Body
  2. Emotional Body
  3. Physical Body

The energetic body can be seen as your spirit, as your aura, the first line of defence.  Your energetic body is the first one to be hit and as you start to know your energetic body so well, you will know when other energy has invaded it.

The emotional body is very closely linked with your energetic body, yet stands on its own as well.  Its about paying attention to and honouring your emotions, allowing them to flow through, to not get stuck, but to move through you.

As kids you may have been taught not to be emotional, hearing things like:

  • You are too sensitive
  • You are too overly emotional
  • We don’t talk about our feelings
  • Don’t air your dirty laundry
  • Don’t be silly
  • You want something to cry about, I’ll give you something to cry about

You know all those statements that were thrust upon us due to our sensitivity.  So it’s no wonder your may have a habit of suppressing your feelings and emotions.

As you continue to do that your emotional body will start to swell and when something starts to swell, it just gets bigger and bigger until it explodes or the tension is released.

I can promise you from personal experience when your emotional body swells, it will explode at the most inopportune time.  Sound familiar?

The physical body is affected by your energetic and emotional bodies, stuck energies and stuck emotions are going to have a negative affect on your body.  You may start to experience tension, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, adrenal fatigue, thyroid issues just to name a few.

The Body Holds The Score!

The traumas you have experienced will always be remembered by your physical body, your mind may forget but your body will always remember.

So even if you say “oh I’m fine, I’m past that, I don’t even really think about it”.  What does your body say about that?  Is it still holding the pain, the trauma and the hurt?  Is it screaming at you asking you to give it some attention?

Below the surface is information and guidance for you that is going to let you know the truth of what is truly going on.

The work I do with my clients is guiding them gently below the surface to find the truth, to find the core of what is truly happening and why.

Overall well-being isn’t just about taking care of one part of you, it is taking care of all of you, of all of your bodies.

Which of these are you paying attention to? All three, just one or two or none of them. Together they are responsible for your overall well-being.

Is Your Undercurrent Running the Show?

“Is Your Undercurrent Running the Show?”

To quote the description from the dictionary “an undercurrent is a hidden opinion, feeling, or tendency often contrary to the one publicly shown” and when I read this, I thought yes that makes so much sense.

We tend to put out into the world how we want people to perceive us or how we feel others expect us to be, but it isn’t always congruent with what is going on within you or who you truly are at your very core, your souls essence.

That is all fine and good until you start to notice it affecting your life and not been able to achieve the things in your life that you truly want and deserve.  So the question remains “is your undercurrent running the show?”

“There is more going on than meets the eye”

 


One very simple question is going to answer that for you ~ are you receiving the things in your life that you want and deserve?  If the answer is yes then you are all good and your surface and undercurrent are congruent and you can keep doing what you are doing.

If the answer is a resounding NO then there is a gap between what is happening on the surface to what is happening under the surface, aka your undercurrent.

As a Law of Attraction Trainer (yes another hat I wear :)) I teach a three step process to manifesting the things that you want into your life, it is quite simple:

Step 1: Identify Your Desire 

Step 2: Give your desire attention

Step 3: Allow

Through my own experience what I noticed was there was a step missing, whilst I was attracting great things into my life, they felt a little inconsistent.  This is when I decided to dig deeper and see the cause and of course I came across my undercurrent.

Just like when people place timestamps on their YouTube videos and you can see the little dashes and you can jump to the different parts of the video, it is the same with your past experiences, each of your experiences are like a timestamp and each timestamp can have an affect on your current experience.

Within that current are all the beliefs you hold about yourself, about the world and about what you think is possible.  If you can imagine that say your belief is “I am not worthy” then that belief in and of itself is going to have a huge affect on what you can manifest into your life.

When you are not feeling worthy of something or someone then it would be very hard for you to believe that it is possible and of course that is then the message you are sending out to the universe.  So no surprise that you are not attracting the things into your life that you want and deserve.

So as you can see this missing piece can have a massive affect on your life, so its important to start to look at your beliefs, pull them apart and start to understand where they stem from, so you can then go to work on healing and releasing them from your energetic body.

As you do that you will start to notice that you are able to attract and manifest things, people and experiences into your life very easily.  As easy as thinking about it and bam there it appears right in front of you.

Step 4: Heal and Release

In the podcast episode I shared an energy healing to help you to start to access these beliefs, heal and release them, so you can start to manifest what is you want and deserve.

In our current times it is so easy to get stuck within your own mind and within your own thoughts, the angels are guiding they are very aware of all the anxiety that is within us and around us right now.  It is a prime time for anxiety right now and for those of you that have struggled with anxiety in the past, it may be surfacing now like never before because it is saying “see I told you so, I told you something would go wrong”.

Your angels like always are in a very supportive and cheerleader mode urging you to do all the things you know you need to do during this process and any challenging times you experience.  They have your back and are cheering you on from the sidelines “You Can Do It!”

Card 2: Lotus Rose

A lotus rose grows and even thrives in the most difficult of circumstances, it actually grows in the mud and boy is that the energy we are currently residing in.  Like in card #1 there is so much anxiety around, everyone is experiencing at the very least a low grade anxiety and as an empath you are feeling and bathing in that energy.  The angels want to remind you just like the lotus rose, you too can grow and thrive through the mud, in actual fact the growth you experience right now will be so profound it will propel your soul forward 10 speed.

I have seen an example of this just this past week, with younger people aka millennial’s saying “we have never experienced anything like this before”.  Whilst true for them yes, its not true for us in the older generation, whilst we haven’t been through this exactly, we have all suffered challenging times.  So they have been plotting along with normal life, no mud to speak of and now they are struggling a little more than us due to their lack of experience and exposure.

They are certainly going to come out of this with a whole lot more resilience than they went into it with and the same with you, you are going to come out of this experience with amazing confidence knowing you can grow through anything, you can survive anything, because you just did.

Card 3: The Universe

The universe has a message for you that she is healing and as she heals you heal too and the angels are saying this is happening for us, not to us.  I know in life it can certainly feel like things are happening to us and I understand that completely, but if you can have a shift in perspective you will start to see some of the benefits of right now.

Families are having more time to spend together (I know not always a good thing lol) but the rushing, the jam packed schedules, the filling our lives with things and experiences not for our highest good have been stripped from us.  We are all going to come out of this with a very different perspective of what we need and what we choose to fill our time with moving forward.

Have you seen the amazing footage of mother nature healing, animals coming back out and the amount of butterflies and dragonflies around.  All signs of healing, all signs of growing and all signs of transformation.

The angels are asking me to ask you “Can you see it?”

Card 4: Buddha Nature

Your guidance starts at 7:28 in the video below.

Come into the present moment, Buddha Nature is all about mindfulness and being in the current moment.  Following on from card #1 anxiety does not exist in the present moment, it is always in the future, worrying about what is going to happen, what is yet to come.

In this moment right here and right now, you are safe.  A great mantra to have with you in times of anxiety “My name is ……….. and right here and right now I am safe”.  It is only when you project into the future is your anxiety going to skyrocket, when you start to worry about tomorrow, what tomorrow will look like, how you will cope in tomorrows world, all future projected.

Energy of the week for 20th-26th January 2020

Archangel Michael provided me with insight for the week ahead, before I even looked at the cards.  He is guiding that there may be a situation that comes up that feels similar to past experiences, but he is guiding it is not the same and wants to encourage you to not allow the past situation or experience topple on top of the current one.  When you bring past experiences into current ones it can make the current one 10 even 100 times worse.  What you can do though is bring forth the lessons you learned, what did you learn in the past that will help in the present?

Card 1: Honour & Trust Your Feelings

Prayer: “Thank you, Archangel Michael, for supporting, guiding and protecting me as I listen to and act upon my feelings.  Help me understand and express my emotions with love.”

Wonderful to see Archangel Michael confirming what I have been sharing with you on social media over the past week (if you are not following me, you can find me @nicoleivens on Instagram and Facebook).  Honouring and trusting your feelings is such a big part of your growth as a soul, but as humans we are very good at suppressing, escaping and quietening our feelings and emotions.  There is always something or someone within reach to distract you from feeling, from processing your emotions.  As I shared this past week the pathway is “I feel you, I acknowledge you and I release you”, following this is going to see you feeling lighter, brighter and more energetic.

Your feelings are there for a reason, they have a message for you and all they want is to be heard and that is done through feeling.  So your guidance this week is to FEEL, I know I know, not fun but the inner work very rarely is, but boy is it rewarding and empowering.

Card 2: Energy Healing Work

Prayer: “Thank you for sending healing energy to me and through me, for my own blessings and for all those around me.  Thank you for connecting me to loving and high-integrity healers and teachers of energy-healing modalities.”

Energy healing is such a powerful modality and one I am very passionate about and advocate for as an experienced practitioner, maybe its the reason you have been drawn to me.  Its been a privilege this week to hear so many of your stories and connecting with many of you in our free discovery sessions, if you have pulled this card it is just another layer of confirmation that it is time.  Time to take care of yourself, time to do things in a different way and that you are ready to master and nurture your energy.

Card 3: New Beginnings & A Fresh Start

Prayer: “Thank you for bringing new opportunities and offering support, and for helping me release and heal my past.  Fill me with trust as I experience these life changes.”

New beginnings and fresh starts can be scary, your angels are guiding its not a time to look at the big picture but at the little baby steps  you can take in the direction of your ideal lifestyle, how does that look for you?  They are also showing me that this is essentially what our spiritual path is, just putting one foot in front of the other heading along on our journey.

When we think about new beginnings fears can pop up around leaving your comfort zone, leaving behind things and people that you feel safe with.  The unknown can be a scary place, but it is where the magic lies and where the biggest growth happens.  Unfortunately not a lot of growth happens within that comfort zone, that’s why its called comfort.

As the prayer says “helping me release and heal my past” this part is essential to moving forward, to a fresh start,  you don’t want to be carrying the old experiences around with you, they are heavy and they keep you stuck and tethered to your current position.  Its time to let go, to release, you are ready to master and nurture your energy for a new beginning.

Card 4: Prayer Will Help This Situation

Your guidance starts at 11:37 in the video below.

Prayer: “Dear God and Archangel Michael, I ask for your Divine intervention.  I welcome your help, and I trust and follow your guidance with gratitude and grace.  I need a miracle and ask that you send one to me and this situation quickly.  Thank you and amen.”

The angels are guiding this card may be triggering for you, that maybe prayer is something you associate with the church system as do I.  Prayer was something for a long time I struggled with as I was raised as a Catholic and my girls do still go to a Catholic school, so prayers were something I guess I felt was forced upon me, I was told when and how I could pray.  So no wonder it was triggering for me, through my own healing and working with my angels I have learned a new perspective, a new way to look at prayers.

Your angels are asking me to share this with you, look at praying as you talking, asking and communicating with the divine (however that looks for you) and then meditation (again however that looks for you) is where you receive answers, guidance and solutions.  The divine and your intuition is a very quiet voice and just can’t be heard above our noisy world, so that is why meditation or your quiet time (be that out on a walk or engrossed in your favourite hobby) is so important to help you feel guided and supported.

Think about having a conversation with someone here on earth, if you do all the talking and don’t let them get a word in edge ways, there is no to and fro, no feedback, no support or guidance, its all very one sided.  Whereas if you allow the other person to converse with you, its a much better experience, a relationship built on mutual trust and respect.  Its the same for your relationship with your higher power, asking for what you need and allowing them to provide this to you in a way that works for them.

RELATIONSHIP HARMONY – A wonderful card to receive right before the Christmas Period, what could be better than feeling the love and peace that comes when each and every person has an open heart.  This is the gift the Angels are giving you, what they are asking from you is that you manage your expectations during this time, Christmas is usually a time where we come together with people we don’t necessarily see all that much throughout the year and this can cause friction and tension sometimes.  Coming into it with an open heart and lowering your expectations allows you to the enter the space with a lightness and with that comes a more joyful experience, as you aren’t expecting anything from anyone and with that comes harmony and beautiful surprises and miracles bestowed upon you.

ANGEL THERAPY – Fancy that another week of our guidance following on like a beautiful story, the angels are blessing you with open hearts all around and now Archangel Raphael is coming in and showering you with his beautiful healing energy and asking you to hand anything over to him, you don’t have to do it alone.  As I mentioned in Card 1 Christmas can be a time of tension and stress and we can sometimes feel we have to do it alone, but NO your angels are there to support you and pave the way for you to have a beautiful relaxing experience if you allow them to help you.

In the video below I talk about how Christmas is known as a time of coming together, celebrating and forgiveness but it can also be a time of reflection, what has the past being about, what has it taught you?  In my view and the angels are guiding as well its not the best time to be trying to mend deep hurt with other people, because tensions can be running high, alcohol flowing and expectations are also high.

YOU ARE SAFE – What is better than that, to know you are safe.  Our beautiful strong Archangel Michael is with you, ready to cut through any negative energy that you may pick up with his infamous sword.  He is wanting you to know that he has your back!  There may be situations you find yourself in over the holidays that maybe are not of your choosing and not something you may know how to necessarily cope with, this is where he is going to come in and support you, if you allow him to.

Ask for his strength and courage to help you through times that may see you surrounded with people that are not necessarily on your vibration level, yes family are not always understanding or respectful of our difference and our growth and that can be challenging.  So ask Archangel Michael to be with you and surround you in his beautiful purple light and to cut any cords with people that you no longer want your energy attached to, now this doesn’t mean that you don’t love them or even want to sever all communication, it is just cutting the energetic cord, so your energy stays protected.

ALL IS WELL – What a beautiful way to end our story this week and also as an individual message for you, ALL IS WELL!  Isn’t that what we all want to just know that everything is going to be okay.  What the angels are guiding is if you can follow their guidance during this time, and well of course always, then all will be well.  They are also guiding there are going to be times where you need to let things play out, even if it doesn’t feel good and even downright painful sometimes, you just need to let it be.  Now I know as empaths and sensitive souls this isn’t easy for us, because we are so compassionate and always wanting to help and serve others.  But sometimes we just need to let things be and see where they go, not interfering, just going with the flow and only acting from a place of alignment and when you feel guided to step in.

Now we all know how easily we can be triggered by family, boy are they good at pressing our buttons, but it is your job to just stand back and allow it to just flow over you like water off a ducks back.  No reacting, just observing and removing yourself from the situation if need be.   As you do that you will soon see that ALL IS WELL.

 

What a beautiful story this week, an empowering one I feel, knowing that you are in control, you can lower those expectations and go into each day and each event with an energy of lightness and relaxation.  Not concerned with things going perfectly, but just spending time with people you love and knowing you have the power, strength and healing of the Archangels right by your side.
